Dr. Ray, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, has an active research program in the clinical neuroscience of addiction. Her approach to clinical science involves the integration of experimental psychopathology, behavioral genetics, pharmacology, and neuroimaging methods.

Current projects taking place at the CCN:

Optimizing Naltrexone for Individuals of East Asian Descent -This study will elucidate the pharmacogenetic effects of the Asn40Asp SNP of the OPRM1 gene on biobehavioral and neural markers of response to naltrexone in individuals of Asian descent.

The Effects of Naltrexone on Neural Responses to Methamphetamine Cues -This study seeks to investigate the neurobiological effects of naltrexone on methamphetamine cues in individuals who use methamphetamine.
