Psychopharmacology

The mission of this research area is to better understand how drugs and medication affect brain chemistry. While drugs and medications play a role in treating and ameliorating psychiatric disorders, some people benefit from a single medication while others benefit from a combination. Faculty researchers in this area work to understand how to best use medications in treating these disorders.
