Courses and Programs in Social Skills
We offer specific programs under 2 broad groups:
- Parent-assisted social skills group program for children:
- Children's Friendship Program (grades 2-5)
*Seven year olds can be accepted in the spring of their 1st grade year for our summer groups.
- Children's Friendship Program (grades 2-5)
- Parent training/behavior modification programs for parents with children and early adolescents:
Enrollment and More Information
Our Parenting and Children's Friendship Programs are vendored by Westside Regional Center. The cost of the intake and sessions for Regional Center clients are fully covered when prior approval is obtained from Regional Center. You may see www.dds.ca.gov/complaints or call 916-654-1987 about any issues arising from Regional Center decisions.
To enroll, download an application packet from the appropriate program page, fill it out, and return it via fax, mail, or email. After we receive your completed packet, we will schedule a phone screen with our staff and a one-hour intake appointment with one of our clinicians to determine whether our program is appropriate for your family.
