This #GivingTuesday, donate to support patient services at CART!
UCLA CART is participating in GivingTuesday as part of our year end fundraising campaign! When a child is diagnosed with autism, developmental delay, or intellectual disability, it can be difficult to know where to turn. Low-income families struggle with finding and accessing the best professionals to help their children due to: knowledge gap about these conditions; limited access to neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic specialists; and financial barriers to specialty clinical care and cutting edge diagnostics.
CART believes that every patient should have access to the full range of care available at the clinics and should not have to forgo potentially helpful tests, therapies, or treatments because of cost. The CAN and CARING clinics at CART are multidisciplinary clinics that evaluate and treat children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders with a suspected or determined genetic cause.
With your support, the CAN and CARING clinics will be able to provide specialized care and assistance for patients with autism and other very complex conditions who don’t have the ability to pay out of pocket or through their insurance providers. Your support will help the clinics expand essential services such as genetics, psychiatry, neurology, educational psychology, and social work and provide scholarships for families in need.
Please help us make a difference in the lives of these patients and families by donating to this crowdfunding campaign, aimed at raising $50,000 by December 31, 2019.

After you give, please consider sharing this campaign to increase our visibility. Regardless of how you choose to participate, know that your support is helping to increase access to care and improving the lives of these individuals.
