Tiffani Tejada, Psy.D. received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family, Child and Couple Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles. Dr. Tejada was a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA TIES for Families and first joined the UCLA TIES family when she was an extern at South Bay TIES for Families during graduate school. She completed her pre-doctoral internship as a Child/Family Intern at the Southern Arizona Psychology Internship Consortium in Tucson, AZ, where she provided trauma-informed therapy and conducted psychodiagnostic assessments with toddlers through teens. She also spent part of her internship training providing group therapy and support to underserved populations of adults at a therapeutic ranch. Dr. Tejada currently provides individual, parent, family, and group psychotherapy, conducts psychological testing and pre-placement consultations, and is a clinician in the Infant Mental Health program. Dr. Tejada utilizes a trauma- and resiliency-informed lens while integrating a systems approach, social justice, and advocacy into her clinical work.
