Interventional Psychiatry

The mission of this research area is to better understand how treatments other than traditional psychotropic medications can improve or enhance care. This field uses electrical or magnetic stimulation as well as some drug treatments (e.g., IV ketamine) to alter brain circuitry and ease symptoms of psychiatric disorders.
