The UCLA Parenting & Children's Friendship Program was founded in 1982 and has served over 2000 families.

We offer social skills group programs for children in elementary school, junior high and high school who are have having problems making or keeping friends. We also offer parent training/behavior modification programs for parents with children (starting at age 2) and early adolescents (age 12½-15½). Dates for forthcoming courses are listed on our Calendar.

The UCLA Parenting & Children's Friendship Program staff train social work, psychology interns and psychiatry fellows only as part of the regular UCLA training programs. However, our staff may be available for presentations and workshops in the future. To request information about training please contact us for additional information.
