PEERS For Dating

Project Summary

This program is being developed by the PEERS Clinic and aims at improving outcomes for young adults with ASD interested in romantic relationships. The program is based on empirically validated social skills taught in the PEERS for Young Adults curriculum, one of the only evidence-based social skills interventions for adults with ASD, in combination with new material focused on skills such as online dating, conflict resolution, handling rejection, and relationship boundaries. Dr. Laugeson is currently screening subjects for remote intervention via Zoom, with the intention to begin the first cohort in February 2021.
