Olivia Raynor, Ph.D., is the Director of the UCLA Tarjan Center, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.  She is also the Founder and Director of the National Arts and Disability Center.
Dr. Raynor has over 40 years of experience advancing policies and practices for supporting diverse families, inclusive postsecondary education, competitive integrated employment, and careers in the arts for people with disabilities. Dr. Raynor has been the Principal Investigator on 96 federal, state, and foundation grants including the Family Mentor Partner Program for Chinese and Latino Families, (2018-2020) from the California Department of Developmental Services and CECY, Californiaâs Project of National Significance Partnerships in Employment Systems Change from the Administration on Community Living/ US DHHS.Â
Dr. Raynor has served on numerous national and state committees, councils and boards, serving as the president of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities and is a Governor appointed member of the State Council on Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Raynor holds degrees from Boston University and USC in Occupational Therapy and a doctorate from UCLA in Educational Psychology.Â
