Linda Ercoli, Ph.D.

Linda Ercoli is a licensed clinical psychologist, with a specialty in neuropsychology and geriatrics. As the Interim Director of the UCLA Longevity Center, she overseas the Longevity Center programs, writes many of the memory training and educational curriculums, and directs the creation of new programs.  She is the Director of Geriatric Psychology in the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behaviors, and oversees psychologists in training and provides medical education to medical residents and fellows. Her clinical work  is in the geriatric psychology clinic where she conducts evaluations for people over 65 years with cognitive difficulties, aids in the differential diagnosis of dementia, and provides recommendations for patients and their families.  Over the last 2 1/2 decades at UCLa she collaborated on many research projects including using cognitive, brain imaging aging and genetic indicators (i.e. biomarkers) ) for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. She collaborates on treatment trials assessing pharmaceutical and lifestyle interventions for people with late life depression, mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.
