Young Dance

Since 1988, Young Dance has encouraged youth in our community to build body and spirit through the creative art of dance. The Dance Company and school collaborates with professional artists, forges meaningful community partnerships and pushes the boundaries of the art and practice of dance.

Community dance classes are offered to boys and girls ages 1-18 in creative movement, modern dance, ballet and Adaptive Dance classes for young people living with mobility impairments. Classes are open to anyone. The Young Dance company is made up of 35 boys and girls. They take modern dance classes, work with professional artists, and create their own choreography. The company performs at venues throughout the year and a final performance in May. The company is open by audition. Scholarships are available for both classes and company.
