Megan Howard

Artist Biography:

Megan Howard is an American artist who prefers working with glass, chalk pastels, markers, and paint markers. She has lived most of her life with Behcet’s Disease and Autonomic Neuropathy. These conditions cause severe pain and fatigue, and make everyday tasks, like showering, very difficult. Most of her artwork is created from bed due to her disability, but it brings her a great deal of happiness to make glass art when she can get up.

Making artwork provides her with an opportunity to distract herself from her pain, express what she's going through, and to have a sense of purpose.
