The UCLA Longevity Center welcomes volunteers to become trainers for the local Memory Training program and assist with operations for the UCLA Senior Scholars Program. UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center

Over 3000 people volunteer monthly throughout 250 departments at UCLA Health. These men, women and teenagers donate their time and share their talents throughout our hospitals, research facilities and patient care areas, bringing a special personal touch to our patients and families.  Some of the most popular volunteer opportunities are below:

UCLA Companion Care Program

Specially trained volunteers provide individualized companionship to older patients while they are hospitalized. 



UCLA People- Animal Connection (PAC)

No One Dies Alone

NODA volunteers may simply be present with patient, play music, read, hold hands, meditate, etc. and are trained on end-of-life and palliative care to notice any expressions of pain or discomfort patient may experience so that nurse can be notified.  https://volunteer.uclahealth.org/custom/527/opp_details/4139
