Longevity Center

  • Senior Scholars

UCLA Senior Scholars Membership is a program that provides older adults (50+) with an opportunity to connect with UCLA’s academic community. Membership benefits include auditing privileges to sit in UCLA undergraduate courses in various subject areas, as well as exclusive access to Senior Scholar’s networking events.

  • Memory Education Programs

UCLA Longevity Center education programs encourage life-long learning, a vital component of longevity, in community members of all ages

  • Memory Trainings

Memory Training is a 4-session manualized course teaching memory enhancing techniques and practical strategies to boost memory functioning.

  • Brain Boosters

Brain Boosters are extension courses for people who attended the Memory Training program. Presenters discuss research about memory and other cognitive functions, and lead participants through brain boosting exercises.

  • Brain Boot Camp

This intensive, interactive course provides participants with lifestyle strategies and tools to keep their brains vital and healthy.

The 2nd Act offers Bruins in their fifth decade of life and beyond opportunities and
resources to engage and learn, optimize health, volunteer and invest in themselves.


Geffen Playhouse

  • Senior Adult Writing Workshop

Geffen Playhouse is offering a six-week, online, creative writing workshop for senior adults who seek to grow as writers and theater makers. Participants will develop their voice through writing, revising, and receiving critical feedback.
