Resilience in the Face of COVID-19: Webinar with Dr. Gary Small and Dr. Helen Lavretsky
May 20, 4 pm PT, 7 pm ET
The Covid-19 pandemic has led to heightened levels of stress for people of all ages throughout the world. The rapidly changing patterns of viral spread throughout our communities, escalating health and financial worries, isolation and loneliness from social distancing, uncertainty about the future, and other daunting threats to our wellbeing have led to widespread fear, anxiety, pessimism and emotional dysregulation. Resilient individuals, however, are able to quickly recover from such crises and emerge stronger and healthier than those who are more susceptible to these challenges. In this webinar, we will discuss resilience—this capacity to recover quickly from adversity—and strategies for achieving it.
