About

The UCLA Psychedelic Studies Initiative is a multidisciplinary program that explores the therapeutic potential of psychedelic compounds for treating mental health conditions. Research areas include depression, anxiety, PTSD, and end-of-life distress. The initiative promotes responsible, ethical research grounded in neuroscience, psychiatry, and cultural understanding. It also supports education and policy development in the emerging field of psychedelic medicine. The goal is to advance scientific knowledge and integrate promising new therapies into clinical care.
