About
The Division of Adult Psychiatry is a large clinical Division dedicated to state- of- the- art clinical care; academic excellence, departmental service and leadership; faculty and staff professional development/mentoring; and development of creative clinical research projects and collaborations. The Division is well-integrated within the Department of Psychiatry, UCLA Health System, Faculty Practice Group, Semel Institute, the WLA VA and other entities.
The Division utilizes a large group of experienced and dedicated full-time faculty, staff physicians and staff clinicians including psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers and voluntary clinical faculty to provide a wide range of clinical services for UCLA patients at multiple settings on and off-campus.

- Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital (RNPH) inpatient services for patients who require hospitalization
- RNPH-licensed Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
- Ronald Reagan- UCLA Medical Center (RR-UCLAMC) Emergency Department psychiatric consultations for patients who require urgent psychiatric evaluations
- RR-UCLAMC – Psychiatry consultations for medically ill patients
- UCLA-SMH Consultation-Liaison – Psychiatric consultations for medically ill patients
- RR-UCLAMC Transplant Psychiatry consults for inpatients and outpatients

Adult faculty perform clinical services within the Division and departmental clinical and research programs including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Depression Grand Challenge, DGSOM Behavioral Wellness Center (BWC) and others.
