Adult Psychiatry

Overview

In this advanced clinical clerkship, the student will function as a sub intern under faculty and chief resident supervision. Clinical activities will occur on the Adult Psychiatry Inpatient units and the Adult Partial Hospital Program. Sub-interns will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, from admission to discharge. All clinical activity will be supervised via individual meetings and daily rounds with faculty and chief residents. A three-week rotation. Prerequisites: clerkships in psychiatry, medicine, and surgery.
