Dr. Ott is a board-certified child and adult psychiatrist and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Ott completed his M.D. and graduate training (Masters in Neuroscience) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Subsequently, Dr. Ott completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry as well as a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA. He also completed a NIMH sponsored postdoctoral training in neuropsychiatry focusing on pediatric epilepsy. He is the director of the UCLA Pediatric Neuropsychiatry Clinic and is a psychiatric consultant for Westside Regional Center and Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center in Los Angeles. In the field of child psychiatry, Dr. Ott has special expertise in pediatric neuropsychiatry, developmental disabilities, psychosis, and pediatric psychopharmacology, including management of ADHD. He also provides psychiatric care for a number of patients with traumatic brain injuries. Dr. Ott is also a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Diagnostic Team in the CAN Clinic.
