UCLA CART team at Autism Speaks community outreach event Sept. 7

UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART) joined with community partners for a key outreach event.

On Saturday, September 7, 2013, at team of UCLA CART autism expert clinicians, outreach staff, and student volunteers participated in an Autism Speaks EARLY ACCESS TO CARE outreach event at Magnolia Place near downtown Los Angeles. Approximately 100 underserved families attended the event and received free screening and an onsite referral contact for information and services for children with autism spectrum disorders.  UCLA CART also contributed to the planning, organization and promotion of this valuable community event which was featured on the local news that evening:
