Drs. Rujuta Wilson and Shafali Jeste Host an All-Inclusive Sport Conference for Children with Developmental Disabilities at UCLA

Drs. Rujuta Wilson and Shafali Jeste from the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART), in partnership with Dr. Nicole Rinehart from Deakin University, Moose Toys, and All Play, hosted the ALL Sports Conference: Making Sports and Dance Fit for All Kids on April 26, 2019 at UCLA. This conference included talks by world-renowned researchers and experts in the fields of sports education and sports medicine. Attendees also participated in an all-inclusive tennis clinic for individuals with developmental disabilities. Pam Shriver and Vania King, famous Grand Slam Champions joined families for this wonderful event!

Dr. Rujuta Wilson is a child neurologist specializing in behavioral neurology, with specific focus on autism spectrum disorders, and related neurodevelopmental disorders. She is an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Neurology and Psychiatry. She is also a faculty member in the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART).

Dr. Shafali Jeste is a behavioral child neurologist specializing in autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. She is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry, Neurology and Pediatrics in the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, the director of the UCLA CARING Clinic and the director of the biomarkers core of the UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART).
