Autism Study Draws Attention

Examiner.com, MedicalXpress and Healio  on June 10; News-Medical.net and HealthCanal on June 11 reported on a UCLA study that found that some youth on the autism spectrum have brains that react differently to sensory stimuli than their peers.

Shulamite Green, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow in the Semel Institute and UCLA CART, and Mirella Dapretto, PhD, a professor of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences in the Semel Institute and researcher with UCLA CART, were quoted.
