Exceptional Minds
Exceptional Minds (EM) is a three-year vocational program for young adults on the autism spectrum who want to earn a living in the fields of computer animation, visual effects, and digital design. The program curriculum includes:
- technical training
- work readiness instruction
- practical experience
- job preparation and placement
Students earn Adobe certification, create individual portfolios and websites, and work on professional projects.
Housing: No housing is offered through this program.
Duration: Three years for the full-time program (September-June). Students earn a certificate of completion as well as Adobe Certification in at least three software programs. Exceptional Minds also offers Summer Workshops and Private Tutoring.

Admission procedure:
- Call and schedule a tour of the school
- Submit application form with IEP, IPP, and other background reports
- Schedule a one-hour assessment (this is a sample lesson, not a written test!)
- Applicants will be notified in a timely manner

Transition services for Students exiting the program:
On-staff job developer works with students to secure appropriate job placement. EM also has an in-house studio where students can work on contract projects.
