Disability Resource Center CareerPrep Program
Disability Resource Center (DRC) CareerPrep Program is a comprehensive, rigorous program designed to prepare students with developmental disabilities for employment. Practical job preparation and independent living skills are emphasized in a series of courses designed for individualized progress. The program offers an Award of Achievement to students who pass a series of required courses, included, but not limited to:
- Community Integration
- Computer Education
- Current Events
- Health Education
- Interpersonal Skills Development
- Job Readiness
- Self Advocacy
- Self Direction
- Self Support
Housing: No housing is offered through this program.
Duration: The Award of Achievement is a two year course of study.
Credit, Degree or Award: Award of participation/completion, Non-credit courses

Transition services for Students exiting the program:
Assistance is provided in career counseling, housing and connecting with adult agencies/service providers.
