Actual Lives Performance Project

Actual Lives is a community-based writing performance workshop which establishes theatrical voice and presence for people with disabilities. They take the raw material of real life and turn it into live performance, focused on what it means to live with disability. Participants write from their experience and then translate those narratives into public performance. Actual Lives is designed to encourage a voice for people with disabilities by providing opportunities to create theatre from personal experiences and share it in a public forum.
