From its beginning in 2008, Do-Art has evolved into a program that has changed so many lives. The program itself is unconventional. Do-Art takes each person as they come into the program and starts with them at the point at which they’re comfortable; drawing circles, looking at books, or even simply observing the class. They then find out what objects and mediums they’re attracted to, and as they unpeel that person’s wants and desires, they eventually move forward. Once each person gets over the hurdle where they do want to try different things the results are endless. It’s like opening a window that’s stuck - once that window starts to open and the light goes on in their soul it is life-changing.
