Our center is focused on three primary areas: physical and mental health, employment, and post-secondary education.
We believe that access to high-quality healthcare and mental health services is essential for individuals with disabilities to live healthy and fulfilling lives. To this end, we are dedicated to addressing the mental and physical health needs of individuals with disabilities through a range of approaches, including service delivery, consultation, research, clinical care, and professional education and training. By utilizing this comprehensive approach, we aim to promote the overall health and well-being of individuals with disabilities and their families, and to help them thrive in all areas of life.
We are committed to promoting lifelong learning and providing individuals with the tools they need to succeed in all areas of life. To achieve this, we are dedicated to facilitating access to post-secondary education opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our postsecondary education activities focus on providing leadership, training, and technical assistance to increase equity and opportunities for participation in postsecondary education. By breaking down barriers to education, we empower individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
At our center, we are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve economic independence through employment. We strive to promote employment opportunities and develop job readiness skills to enable individuals with disabilities to succeed in the workforce. Our employment activities aim to expand community capacity to provide equitable, high-quality, inclusive, and accessible employment supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families. By fostering inclusive employment practices and promoting equal access to opportunities, we are working to create a more equitable society for individuals with disabilities.
