The Department of Psychiatry/Semel Institute at UCLA provides world-class research, education, service and outreach geared towards serving the mental health needs of California's diverse communities.

Create more intentional structures to support the success of the next generation of faculty.

Facilitate early career grant applications

Enhance a sense of community and shared identity(internal/affiliates)

Improve communication and information sharing.

Strengthen internal and external community partnerships through education, research and service.

Augment and enhance administrative infrastructure at the Institute and Center level.

Improve access to shared statistical support and other shared resources.

Facilitate grant applications.

Enhance clinical/research collaborations.

Sustain integration of clinical and research enterprises through the Mid-Wilshire transition.

Strengthen research collaborations across a continuum of population behavioral health services.
