NIAD's mission is to provide an art program for people with disabilities that promotes creativity, independence, dignity and community integration. Programs include the visual arts, such as painting and drawing, ceramics, multimedia, fiber arts, some language arts, and independent living skills. The staff is composed of professional, working artists. In addition to the studio there is an art gallery and gift store and a web site with an on-line gallery.
