Imani Harrington

Ms. Harrington has lived with HIV/AIDS for the past 25 years. She wrote the first literary play on women and AIDS and is now the first to write a play about Hurricane Katrina and AIDS and slavery. The fund she has been granted will be used to process and edit the film she created Bitter Fruit, and to select and transfer the footage onto a cd/DVD format.
