The Tennenbaum Center for the Biology of Creativity was inspired by the vision and generosity of Michael Tennenbaum. The Center for the Biology of Creativity is under the direction of Dr. Peter C. Whybrow and Dr. Robert M. Bilder, Chief of Medical Psychology, Neuropsychology at UCLA.

Our mission

To study the molecular processes, cellular functions, neural circuits, and behavioral mechanisms that result in cognitive enhancements, and explain unusual levels of performance in gifted individuals, including those who manifest extraordinary creativity.
