Clinical
A shared mission to serve and heal our community
The UCLA Jane & Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior partners with the Department of Psychiatry and the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital to provide clinical care.
At our founding, the combined Institute and Hospital served as a research, education, and treatment center with the mission to serve those citizens who suffer from chronic psychiatric and neurological disease and behavioral disorder. While the Jane & Terry Semel Institute, the Department of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences, and the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital have grown into three separate entities, our partnership remains the same with a shared mission to serve and heal our community.
This inextricable link deepens and strengthens our breadth. Our three entities bring together world-class researchers and clinicians to discover and implement effective treatments for patient care.
