Research Interests:
Dr. Nutor’s research focuses on understanding the impact of environmental, social and economic factors
on the health of women and children in low resource countries, with particular focus on HIV/AIDS. He
integrates information on the socioeconomic status of HIV positive women in sub-Sharan Africa,
including access to water, hygiene, and sanitation, with information on their health, in the context of
socioecological theory and theory of planned behavior.
