Marissa is a creative and talented paitner and drawer. She has been taking art classes for four years and is constantly improving and creating new art. She was a 2011 National Down Syndrome Society Joshua O'Neill grant recipient and used the funding to further her art skills and studio time. In addition, 3 of her art pieces have been chosen to be published by Woodbine House in an upcoming book about artist's with special needs. Her goal for the future is to creat a website to display and sell her art pieces.
