Project Summary

We are studying the effects of memantine (Namenda) on brain activity. We are looking for relationships between changes in brain activity, visualized by brain imaging, and improvements in clinical symptoms, measured by memory and thinking tests.

Aims: What is the effect of memantine treatment on brain function?
Are there any correlations between changes in brain metabolism and cognitive improvement?
