Hawaii Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

The Hawaii Vocational Rehabilitation is a state-federal program for individuals with disabilities who require assistance to prepare for, secure, retain, or regain employment. They administer three programs that have separate but related functions to provide for the rehabilitation needs of persons with disabilities to secure employment and to lead full and productive lives. The underlying goal of the DVR is that through employment, individuals with disabilities are empowered toward economic self-sufficiency, independence, inclusion, and integration into society.
