Trauma and Sexual Abuse Research Seminar

Overview

This course is intended for graduate and medical students, and resident physicians who are interested in learning about biobehavioral trauma research. Students will be introduced to DMS-IV TR diagnostic criteria for PTSD as well as the biopsychosocial sequela. Current modes of treatment, including therapeutic and pharmacological interventions will also be reviewed. Research methods particularly important for trauma research will be explored.
