Stress, Trauma and Resilience Internship

Overview

Clinical training for pre-doctoral psychology interns.  Over the course of the year, interns learn the core components of trauma-informed practice, including evaluation and treatment, community outreach and research.

Objectives: 
perform trauma-informed cognitive and psycho-social assessments
write integrated assessment reports
provide trauma-informed treatment recommendations for children, considering the context of the whole family
apply strategies to increase resilience across the family
utilize at least two evidence-based practices to serve families with trauma histories
