Seminar in Use of the MMPI

After initial review of basic MMPI construction and clinical interpretation, this course will focus on the use of the MMPI and MMPI-2 in special populations, including chronic psychiatric patients in inpatient treatment, behavioral medicine, and other specialty clinics. Emphasis will be placed on integration of test results with clinical observations and other test results, and on formulation of cohesive case conceptualizations, treatment plans and recommendations. Offered Spring quarter, Thursdays, 1:45-3:00 p.m., Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
