School Consultation for Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists

Overview

This practicum teaches child and adolescent psychiatrists the role of a consultant in a non-public school setting. Weekly clinical conferences and school observations highlight the impact of mental health issues on the learning of children and how to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary school team. Offered Fall, Winter, Spring quarters, Thursdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
