Psychiatry (C/S)

Overview

Students will receive an advanced experience in Adult General Psychiatry. Primary assignment will be in the Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Divisions where patients will be assigned for evaluation and brief psychotherapy. Students will be expected to attend rounds, team meetings, and appropriate didactic seminars. Close clinical supervision will be provided by selected members of the Psychiatric department of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A three- or six-week rotation. Prerequisite: clerkships in psychiatry and medicine.
