Psychiatric Assessment of Children in the Emergency Setting

Overview

This course offers an opportunity to evaluate and treat children and adolescents who present with psychiatric emergencies to the psychiatric emergency room or outpatient clinic. Clinical supervision is provided by faculty. Offered continuously throughout the year, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m-4 p.m., Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
