Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior

This workshop provides the staff with a framework for describing the patterns of five major types of assaultive behavior that may be encountered in a mental health facility. Emphasis will be on evasive self-defensive techniques as well as safe direct physical intervention techniques encompassing teamwork.
