Issues in Brief Evaluation and Treatment

Overview

Through exposure to a diverse child patient population in the Child Evaluation Clinic in the Child Outpatient Department at the Resnick Hospital, participants will develop skills associated with making a diagnosis and formulating a disposition in a short period of time. Participants may serve as case coordinators for children and adolescents. They will have opportunities to observe and discuss a wide variety of diagnostic presentations, and to provide service under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a manner consistent with their program and training. Offered continuously, Tuesday, 12:15-5 p.m., Room 1208, 300 Medical Plaza. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
