Interacting with Schools - for Child Psychiatrists

Overview

This course is designed to introduce child psychiatry fellows to principles of consultation and to become acquainted with prevailing public school system practices and organization by lectures interspersed with school visits and supervised cases. Some initial experiences in the consultative role will be encouraged. Offered continuously throughout the year, Wednesdays, 8:30-10 a.m., Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
