An option open to psychiatric residents is a process group facilitated by carefully selected clinical faculty members. The goals of the process group are to facilitate understanding and provide for an ongoing experience of group dynamics, provide a theater for collegial development and airing of conflicts inter / intra group regarding uniformity/diversity, belonging /isolation and responsibility, and allow for consideration of identity formation as psychiatrists and examination of specific valences and roles. Offered continuously throughout the year. Section 1. PGY-II Residents. Offered continuously throughout the year, Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Section 2. PGY-III Residents.
