Family Resilience Fellowship

Overview

Clinical training for post-doctoral psychologists.  Over the course of the year, fellows learn the core components of trauma-informed practice and professional development to prepare them for independent practice.

Objectives: 
conduct family level prevention research
apply trauma-informed principles into intervention, assessment, and evaluation
provide trauma-informed treatment recommendations for children, considering the context of the whole family
apply strategies to increase resilience across the family
utilize at least two evidence-based practices to serve families with trauma histories
work independently as a psychologist
