Data Analysis Using Stata

Overview

This course will review the following content/skill areas:

  • Data management
  • Data description
  • Linear regression
  • Logistic regression
  • Survival analysis
  • Cox regression
  • Mixed effects model
  • Meta-analysis
Objectives: 
Identify appropriate analytical approaches for different study designs and data types
Perform analyses of research data, using an appropriate computer software (Stata)
Perform a meta-analysis using dta from existing publications
Interpret appropriately the results of these analyses
Write a clear report presenting the results of a data analysis
