Children's Crisis Team Practicum

Overview

This practicum provides experience in the emergency psychiatric consultation and treatment of children and adolescents in natural settings, such as schools, and group and foster homes. Weekly one-hour rounds focuses on case discussion, crisis intervention, critical incident debriefing, and resource linkage. Offered continuously throughout the year, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
