Affective Disorders

(Same as Psychology M280.) Seminar will cover general topics related to the primary affective disorders (depression, manic depressive illness) including diagnosis, epidemiology, psychology, phenomenology, biology and treatment. Students enrolled for 4 units will be assigned a more intensive reading list and be required to make a presentation or prepare a research paper. Perequisite: graduate standing.
